Clever Suite Release Notes 4.2.3

Introduction

Release Date: April 2024

We are excited to introduce the latest and most advanced version of Clever Suite, your reliable companion for efficient and intelligent management of daily activities. With this version, we have worked hard to bring you numerous improvements and new features that will further enrich your user experience. From optimizing performance to introducing innovative tools, Clever Suite 4.2.3 is designed to exceed your expectations.

Interface

  • Design list: there is now more visibility on individual design and the applications remember the last selected design
  • Small cosmetic changes on forms
  • Improvements were implemented on the data input procedures in the material tables in the Options section (Adaptation of the Help window to the table width, possibility via Help to make the Help disappear and reappear, addition of a button to select the whole table).

Mechanical design

  • It is now possible to design transformers and inductors on bobbin and printed laminations, starting from 4KVA. We have included in Clever Transfo and Clever Inductor:
  • construction data table including a valid proportioning for aluminium windings
  • tables of laminations, bobbin  and clamping brackets
  •       electrical and mechanical rules considering bobbin, printed laminations and clamping brackets
  • Dimension drawing for this type of carpentry.
  • Regarding these elements, we are available to customise the rules according to your way of building if  it differs from our standards.
  • A scaled drawing of the output bars has been included, covering the three most commonly used shapes: straight, oblique and two-fold bar. There is now the possibility of managing all dimensions, positions and drillings, so that all specialities are covered and a scaled drawing can be obtained for the factory. The scaled drawing avoids errors because any changes made in the form are reflected in the drawing below.
  • Now for these elements, it is possible to send the drawing produced by Clever to the factory, avoiding drawing the bars in CAD.
  • This was the first step in drawing the bars. The aim is to complete the job by avoiding CAD drawing for all cases. This is currently being tested and will be released in the next release.

Electrical calculation

  • Small changes on the calculation of core losses in order to achieve greater accuracy
